Glass Artist Mo Wallis is going down at a storm at Nest Gallery, now run by ArtsBank. Another piece Mo only brought in last week has instantly been sold making Mo one of the most popular artists in the gallery over the last few months.
The most recent being "Teesdale Landscape" 2010 a stained glass panel set in local stone.
In her work Mo tries to create pieces that make most of the wonderful light absorbing properties of the glass, by fusing it in a kiln or by creating it with a lead or copper foil. She likes to mix the varying methods in the pieces and is constantly experimenting with different ideas. The challenge excites Mo and everyone who visits NeST Gallery can see the spectacular pieces for themselves.
